The Editorial team and the Editor-in-Сhief of the online scientific publication «Ecology of Language and Communicative Practice» adhere to the publication ethics principles, accepted by the world community (refer to the code of publication ethics, Code of Conduct and Best Practice Guidelines for Journal Editors, etc.). In order to guarantee high quality of scientific publications and to avoid inappropriate publishing practices (plagiarism, statement of inaccurate information, etc.) the editors, the authors and the reviewers should abide by the ethical norms and rules.

Editors should:

be responsible for the publication of the work of authorship and ensure the confidentiality of a scientific article content and other information received from the author before its publishing;address the claims to the published materials and if needed deal with the editorial teams of other journals and/or publishers, publish explanations, rebuttal and apologies;exclude the business or politics influence on publishing decision making;take into consideration reviewers’ recommendations when making the final decision about publishing an article;reject articles containing plagiarism or inaccurate information;preserve the anonymity of reviewers and not tell the authors reviewers’ surnames;reject an article and/or demand its refinement if it is written with violation of the online scientific publication rules;publish information about financial support of the research, if such information is reported by the author;come to an agreement with the author about the editor’s corrections.
Authors should:

prepare the article with accordance to the journal rules;specify a place of work and a funding source if any;specify the names of all the co-authors who made a substantial contribution to the conducted research and article preparation;be responsible for the novelty and accuracy of the scientific research results;avoid duplicating publications (if some parts of the article were published earlier — refer to the earlier publication and specify the difference between the new publication and the previous one;not present the article which is under consideration of other journal or the article which has already been published);follow the ethical norms while criticizing or remarking the research or publications of the third parties;treat the work of editorial team and reviewers with respect and address shortcomings or explain them in a well-argued manner.
Reviewers should:

in case of conflict of interests (with the author) inform the editors office about it and ask to substitute him/her with the other reviewer;review the article as a confidential document, which is forbidden to give to the third parties without authority of the editors for studying and examination;call the Efitor-in-Chief’s attention to the substantial or partial similarity of the reviewed article with some other work and to the absence of references to the ideas, conclusions or arguments published earlier in the works of the author of the article or some other authors;evaluate scientific level of the material, its novelty, relevance and correspondence to the theme and technical requirements of the journal;follow the principle of freedom of expression;give an objective and persuasive estimation of the results presented in the article and reasonable recommendations on how to improve the text.
All the articles submitted to the journal should undergo a checkout in «Antiplagiat» system. The minimum originality level of the submitted text is 85%. Articles containing publication ethics violation are rejected; in case of finding out the ethics violation in the articles after they have been published in the online scientific publication retraction procedure takes place.
